Metaio opens platform to chipset vendors and software developers

Metaio on Thursday opened its platform to chipset vendors and software developers for free, hoping to boost its position in the emerging sector. The cooperation will take place with Texas Instruments, one of leaders of mobile hardware manufacturers.


With this step, Metaio follows similar attempts taken by Qualcomm and Intel. Intel announced recently a cooperation with Total Immersion.
